Born in Osunkaye, Bodija, and raised in Monatan, from Jagun Compound, with deep ancestral roots in. Yemetu, and Jagun Village, Lagelu LGA. My upbringing in Ibadan’s vibrant neighborhoods shaped my values of discipline, independence, and service. A businessman, musician, and philanthropist, I have dedicated many years to empowering the less privileged, driven by the belief that “Self-help is the best help.”

Early Life and Education

Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle was born into the family of late Dr. and Mrs. Dejo Oyekunle in the early 80s in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria

From a young age, young Folajimi showed a keen interest in academics and leadership. He excelled in his primary and secondary education, demonstrating a natural aptitude for learning and a strong work ethic. His academic prowess earned him to pursue higher education as an agriculturist.

Political Career

Driven by a desire to contribute to the development of his community, Folajimi Oyekunle ventured into politics. He contested and won a seat in the State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan North constituency 1 with dedication and integrity. His commitment to serving the people and his visionary leadership style caught the attention of the governor of Oyo State, who appointed him as the Deputy Chief of Staff.
